Why Should you have a Baker's Standard Poodle Puppy

We do this because we love poodles and puppies.
2. Home Raised Puppies & Proper Socialization
Our poodles and puppies are raised in a home environment with lots of kisses and love. Our
home is cage free so no crates or kennels! We keep our puppies until they are at least 9 or 10
weeks old. This gives them more time with their litter mates and mom to learn what is
acceptable behavior with other dogs.
3. On-Site Parents
Sire and Dam live with us so get to meet the parents and see for yourself their temperaments
and personality. Our poodles love visitors - more people to love. We know our dogs
personality and temperament because we are with them almost all the time.
4. Pure Breed Papered Puppies
Our puppies come from American and Canadian champion bloodlines. Our puppies are
registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). Pet puppies have limited AKC registration.
5. No In-breeding or Line-breeding
We do not in-breed or line-breed our dogs. So no mating with siblings, parents, grandparents,
or cousins. We have an extremely low coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) under 1% for 10
generations. This means they have an extremely low ratio of inbreeding, which produces
puppies that should live longer healthier lives.
6. Temperament Test
We do the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test (PAT) when the puppies are 49 days old. We use this
as a tool to help match puppies with their families. We are so committed to this that everyone
waits to pick out their puppy until we have the results. You get a copy of the results in your
puppy packet.
7. Written Contract with a One Year Health Guarantee.
With your puppy, we give you your American Kennel Club (AKC) Limited Registration
paperwork, bag of Canidae puppy food, shot record, written health guarantee and puppy
contract.
8. Free Vet Check and 60 Day Pet Insurance
When you register your poodle with the American Kennel Club (AKC) online, you receive a
Free Vet Exam and 60 day Pet Insurance from the AKC.

9. Up to Date Vaccinations, Dewormed and Vet Checked
We follow the guidelines from the AKC recommended site at dvmvac.com. Our puppies
receive vaccinations when they are 8, 12 and 16 weeks old. They should get their Rabies
shot at 20 weeks. They also are dewormed.
We take our poodles and puppies to Dr. Wilkins DMV, who we think is the best Vet in the area,
at Country Veterinary Clinic.
10. Pickup, Delivery or Shipping
We are located in Clovis, California next to Fresno in the Central Valley. You may drive to us or
we can deliver your puppy to you anywhere in California for a fee.
We can also ship your puppy from Fresno Airport on American Airlines / American Eagle.
Shipping fees start at $250, which includes an airline approved crate and health certificate.
