While my husband was courting me, I told him I liked
Poodles. I liked their funny haircuts and the grace
they had about them. I also had fond memories of my
grandma's miniature poodle and my mom's miniature
poodle.
After we married in 2004, we decided to add a dog to
our family and I researched many breeds. We
wanted a family dog that had a protective nature. I
am allergic to dogs so we needed a hypoallergenic
dog. In the end, a Standard Poodle was the perfect
addition to our family.
For Mother's Day in 2005 he surprised me with
Priscila while I was pregnant with our son. We loved
our "Prissy" so much, he gave me our second poodle,
Sasha, for our first wedding anniversary. "Sassy"
and "Prissy" love to run, play chase, and be silly
poodles. They also perfected the art of gently
jumping onto the bed without waking us during a nap.
When we looked for a boyfriend for our "girls", I found
Louie. He has been a perfect companion for our
family and the girls. They just love hanging out and
being together.
In 2007, we added Roxanne to our family. "Roxy" is a
sweet, well-mannered poodle.
Our Poodles have been a great addition to our family
and we can't imagine life without them.
